Chantilly Performing Arts Holiday Spectacular

The Chantilly High School Band, Choral, Drama, and Orchestra Departments join forces in this beloved annual Holiday Event! Featuring a wide range of children and family favorites along with a host of holiday specials, over 300 students take the stage in this spectacular musical presentation. "The Kid Who Talked To Penguins" CHS Drama Children's Show

Did you know that penguins could fly? Billy McGee didn't, but he also didn't know they could dance, play games and tell the future either. Billy is worried because it seems he can't do anything right. No one in his family has time to play with him, and to make matters worse, he has to spend the weekend with his icky Aunt Terri. On a visit to the zoo, Billy saves some penguins from a bully. When the Penguins visit Billy to thank him, the fun really begins!!
CHS Orchestra Pyramid and
Festival Concert
MONDAY, FEB. 22, and TUESDAY, FEB. 23, CHS Auditorium 7:00 PM
The Chantilly Orchestra plays host to a number of orchestral ensembles from the Chantilly School Community. Groups will play a wide range of specially selected materials in preparation for the upcoming festival performances in March. Be sure to come out for some of the finest string orchestra ensembles in the area.

CHS Band Pyramid and Festival Concert
WEDNESDAY, FEB. 24, and THURSDAY, FEB. 25, CHS Auditorium 7:00 PM
These exciting evenings of student performances will feature the bands of Franklin Middle School, Rocky Run Middle School Chantilly High School and the Chantilly Area Elementary Honor Band. As many of the bands prepare for festival and an experience in adjudication this concert showcases these ensembles at thier best. You won't want to miss a moment of these outstanding musical events.

CHS Choral Showcase and Spaghetti Dinner
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 10, and THURSDAY, MARCH 11, CHS Cafeteria and Auditorium
TICKET PAYS FOR DINNER AND A SHOW! $8.00 Per Person
Concert Choirs and Show Choirs from Franklin Middle, Rocky Run Middle, and Chantilly High School join forces for a second time in the school year to present a great evening of vocal performance art. In addition to the many school choirs and festival performances presented, other special guests will include the Chantilly Pyramid Area Elementary Honor Choir and Special Professional Alumni Artists that will return home for this special concert. Of course adding to the great night of music, the Culinary Arts Program of the Chantilly Acadamy hosts an amazing spaghetti dinner that has become a well loved tradition at this annual event. Come hungry and bring the whole family!
The Chantilly Jazz Festival

The Chantilly Band Department in partnership with the Ed Walker Big Band Society have been hosting this amazing weekend of jazz for over thirty years. In the process the Chantilly Jazz Festival has drawn the finest high school and collegiate big bands in the Mid Atlantic region to this event. In addition, numerous guest artists have graced our stage such as "The Airmen of Note", "The Army Blues", "The Navy Commodores" Jazz Saxophonist Chris Vadala, and returning this year the "Alan Baylock Jazz Orchestra". Small groups and combos perform on Friday and the Big Bands crank it up on Saturday. The top three bands from Saturday will "duke it out" in a "Battle of the Bands" final on Saturday Night.
