Touch of Class, 2007-2008

For over 22 seasons, these highly skilled and dedicated students provide an outstanding stage that makes a memorable and lasting impression.  Over the years, Touch of Class has performed in numerous venues, including radio and television appearances; local, regional and national conferences; conventions; and major concert events.  In addition, Touch of Class has performed at the White House.  Each year, Touch of Class, along with the award-winning Chantilly Jazz Band, closes the season with Jazz & Pizzazz, a two hour musical review that runs four nights and is host to approximately 3,000 enthusiastic audience members.

Among their honors and achievements, Touch of Class has been named the Grand Champion of the "Central Virginia Show Choir Invitational," the "North Carolina Show Choir Invitational," the "Blue Ridge Show Choir Invitational," the "Mid-Atlantic Show and Jazz Choir Festival," and "Fiesta-Val Music Festivals."   Special recognition has been earned in the areas of Best Show Design, Best Vocal Production, Best Choreography, Best Costume Design, and Best Instrumental Ensemble.  Touch of Class has been selected for four years in a row to perform at the "Showstoppers International Show Choir Invitational" hosted by Keynote Arts Associates and Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.  In 1992, Touch of Class was named the most outstanding high school performance by "Downbeat" magazine.  In 2006, Touch of Class represented the state of Virginia at the "Branson Jubilee National Show Choir Invitational" in Branson, Missouri.
