Great Lakes Scrip (GL) Program

Welcome to the Chantilly High School Music Boosters GL Scrip Program. By participating in this program you can accomplish three goals. The first is that you are helping a CHS Music student to earn the money that he/she needs for trips and other participation fees. Second, you are helping the music program purchase much needed supplies, costumes, and uniforms. Lastly, you are helping yourself and your friends and family to easily purchase gift cards and gift certificates that can be used at many major retailers and online.

When you purchase scrip, you receive the full amount of your payment in gift cards or gift certificates. Then a “rebate” is placed into your student’s music account to be used for trips and/or fees. Rebates range from 1.5% to 17%. Each retailer’s rebate is listed on the SCRIP website. 80% of this rebate goes directly to your student’s account and the remaining 20% will go to the Booster General Account of the group your child participates in (band, choral, orchestra, color guard.).

To place an order or sign up use the free online ordering system. If you have any questions on how the online ordering works, you can read all about it in the instructions for ordering online. There are a wide variety of participating retailers.

After you place your order, just print the confirmation form. Then just add the $1.00 handling fee and drop your check off with your area coordinator or you can mail your check to Donna Bell as long as she receives it by the due date. Please be sure to write your student's name and which music department they are in on the confirmation so we can be sure to credit the correct student account. If you have relatives in California that you would like to give a gift to, you can order it through GL Scrip. The GLSCRIP coordinator is Donna Bell.

Just place your order online and get your check to Donna Bell, or your area coordinator by the due date. Please don't forget to include your $1.00 handling fee in your check.
